The infrastructures
Antonio De Luca in this article explains how the infrastructures suitable for observing the sky in the Pollino area should be.
The Pollino area lends itself perfectly to observation of the sky thanks to the very low levels of light pollution.
First of all, it is necessary to identify places, far from the inhabited center, in a sufficiently elevated position and with little vegetation around.
Then they should be equipped with pitches for astronomical observation and be accessible in any season.
The infrastructures of this type could be interesting for both amateur astronomers and educational institutions that intend to offer their students an unusual, stimulating and inspiring experience.

On 10 December, at 5.00 pm, the Second Archaeological Research Campaign on the Settlement of S. Gada will take place at the New Horizons Civic Center in Laino Borgo.
Prof. Fabrizio Mollo from the Department of Ancient and Modern Civilizations of the University of Messina will be present.

The 20th edition of 'A' pricicchia will be held in Castelluccio Inferiore on December 7th.
On this day the cellarmen will open their cellars to citizens and tourists to let them taste typical local products including excellent wine.
